Hi! My name is Nicolas Scholtes also known under the artist-name “Allrounda or “Allrounda Beats. I’ve always been a music fan since day one, when I took my first steps and danced to my parents’ LPs and Cassettes. First, in the age of six, I started taking piano lessons even before I went to primary school. Therefore, I soon got introduced to various musical genres, instruments and musicians.

Later, in the age of 15, me and my cousin started working on electronic music with a Technics KN6500 keyboard and I soon began to fall in love with Hip Hop and Rnb. At that time, I was spending more and more time experimenting with sounds. So, I started programming drum tracks, sequencing and looping instrument tracks. Furthermore, I taught myself how to scratch LPs, make use of sampling and also started writing my own lyrics and became a Rapper. I became, so to say, a “one-man-show and soon, a close friend of mine started calling me “Allrounda. Thus, from that point on, I knew this hobby was meant to become my future!

As a result, I decided to leave my hometown and move to Cologne which is one of Germany’s biggest cities. There, I started studying audio-engineering at a S.A.E. college and continued perfecting my craft. Without a doubt, this step marked a huge change in my life, as I was able to work in multi-million dollar studios and got my hands on any possible high end gear. For example, SSL and NEVE mixing consoles, EQs, Compressors as well as any professional DAW on the market.

Soon after, back in 2009, I established my own business under the name “Allrounda Productions. That year, my music started getting a lot of attention online and I was able to turn making music into a living by offering rap beats for sale online. Accordingly, it became my fulltime job and over the following years, I gained thousands of followers, fans and millions of plays on my beats.
