Story behind the song
I wrote this song in 1999 when I felt inspired to write a song honoring our Granddaughters ( all 7 of them) I had no idea where this song came from but I had a very inspired time of writing it. Sounds crazy ...but I felt as if it came to me out of antiquity of my own heritage somewhere! LOL ... I think we all have grandfathers and grandmothers who would have agreed with me in the content of this song ... even a thousand years ago.
