A very nice story and a very nice song. I remember my mother having the same argument with my father. She would rather have happy children than a perfect garden :) You should add the lyrics, I'm not sure that I am getting all of it right. Very nice vocals. You have a great voice for this ballad style - a nice vibrato and a slight roughness that makes it sound authentic. Personally I would have let the piano evolve a little more, maybe some double takes of powerful chords or maybe add a few sparkling themes here and there. But that's just details. It is a very nice song, with a soft touch of melancholy. Nice work!

Lovely lyrics, a story of so many families, everyone will be able to relate. Very emotional, quite sad in many ways, yet a great tribute to all those parents who do such a great job in allowing their children to find their own way. Great melody, beautifully sung.

A melodic and well arranged song, liked the Piano riff , good intro opening for the song that will follow. A well chosen echo effect on the vocals! A restrospective/melancholic ballade, understated isntrumentations that let much space for the great vocal performance. Fine musical tribut to your Father for sure!! Very good composition LeRhay! :)
