Mayberry consists of four young musicians: James Earwood and Jonathan Harris of Toccoa GA, Mark Green from Lawrenceville GA, and David Perry "DAP" from Augusta GA. They blend the pop sensibilities of alternative rock bands like Third Eye Blind and the Goo Goo Dolls with the depth of Switchfoot and Underoath. Mayberry has taken it upon themselves to craft an arsenal of alternative rock tunes that are sure to grab your attention and keep it long after the song ends. Front man James and lead guitarist Jonathan met in high school and began writing music together in a band called Esoteric. After a mildly successful three year run, the band dissipated and the two set out to find a new drummer and bassist. Their search quickly led them to bassist DAP and drummer Mark. The four quickly bonded musically and were met with much enthusiasm wherever they played; at local venues, festivals, and battle of the bands. Mayberry has released their debut CD entitled "Monday Evenings EP". It is one of the most musically diverse independent albums that you will hear this year. The talented writing skills of Jonathan Harris allows Mayberry to be as versatile as ever, but still keep a signature sound that is sure to make any music lover a fan.
