The music of Vortexan is generated by two guys who met back in high school. Michael Marks and Rod Brinkley graduated from the West Texas town of Monahans in 1972. We started our musical journey at that time and continue today. Although "Vortexan" is my handle in forums - when it comes to the music, there are two of us. I play all the guitars and do the vocals, Rod Brinkley handles the drumming on his Roland V-Drums.

Had to go to the doctor recently and have a checkup. That was the inspiration for this song. This song is dedicated to my Mother who passed away September 5, 2007. I love you Mom.
