No claims of being a performer. I just give it what little I've taught myself musically by songwriting. Recorded by mic, straight to computer as sound on sound.
Born at an early age, I was just a kid at the time....from there memory escapes me, until 2000 or 2001 when I decided to teach myself guitar. In order to teach myself guitar, I took to writing songs. From there, I added bass and occasionally, harmonica and a small touch of electric guitar. Not much of a performer, but I love to experiment writing songs. So, it's nine or ten years into it so far....and I've only scratched the surface with tons to learn. Maybe, you'll find something you like on the nearly three pages, I've loaded so far....Comments are welcome, I don't expect all comments to be favorable, but objectively constructive. I make no claims of being a performer....I just give it my best with what little that I've taught myself both musically and in songwriting. All songs are either written, played and sang by myself or my attempt at covering a song by my favorite artists.

The Journey Sunday, October 23, 2005 Wade Farlowe G There's an endless journey C G To the place you call home C D As you're weaving your journey G Through the mysteries not shown C In life's weary travels G C To the far and unknown C The tapestry unravels D G To the place you call home (end part one) G C D Here's to you my friend Am D G DG We're back where we started, at the end G C D Hope your paths stay true Am D G CG And the roads, you take brings us back to you Em The long road home is an odyssey D So long, are two short words, you see Em Goodbyes hurt far too long C G Keep your spirits feeling strong Em The short ride, you take in plain view D Will some how bring us back to you Em Our love is all, you'll take C G You're just sleeping, till you wake G C D Here's to you dear heart Am D G DG We're back where we ended, at the start G C D Trust the words, I say Am D G CG And the journey may bring you back this way Em The host of love is to His glory D There is a bright light that you'll see Em Follow Him home this way C G Listen to the words, He'll say Em In peaceful rest, He'll guard your soul D Keepsakes from when you had to go Em Your love is all, we'll take C G You'll rest only, till you wake G C D Here's to you my love Am D G DG We're here waiting, although you are above G C D Hope our paths stay true Am D G CG And the roads, we take brings us back to you

This is a neat technique. Recording from a background type of thing to a nice clean song. (Now You got me learning and Im thinking okay I got to try this too) The journey is an excellent song, like the lyrics and the vocals are well done.

Candace and I thank you for putting this inspirational treasure back up for the world to cherish. And we mean that whole heartedly. This is a song that comforted me and Candace ,soon after my father passed away , and it had the same effect, after loosing my mother a year before my father took his long journey. Fighting back the tears we listen again as every line touches our hearts and mind. I think God almighty had you write this just for us. And we thank God for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot fully express in spoken words ,the peaceful feeling that come over me personally, when I first listened to this track. It was if you had channeled a message from above ,and it was directed straight to our hearts. This is power! This is what we love, respect ,and cherish about your songs Wade & listeners. Music that can touch the soul is devine! You have been blessed with a true gift, to see and translate this emotion through your creative intellect and musical ability. I w
